Financial assistance for graduate students is somewhat limited compared to assistance available to undergraduate students. Students are considered for federal loan and Work-Study programs when they apply for financial aid through the University of Michigan Office of Financial Aid. Private or alternative loan sources are also available, but students must apply for these programs separately. For scholarship, grant, and fellowship programs, please contact the academic department or professional school in which you are enrolled or plan to enroll.
